Event: 5/11, artist meet and greet with Lau Blou, 10 a.m.- 6 p.m. Artist Lau Blou will be doing a live painting and answering questions, signing artworks purchased with personal messages. Join us on 5/11 or any day from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. to view her works. Lau Blou paints mixed media paintings that often include fabrics, paper, gold leaf and acrylic paint in blazing but extremely pleasing colors. She knows how to make the paintings seemingly glow as if from an inner light source. Her works are semi-representational, minimalist works that beg to be taken home. We already have both small and large format works by her, but she is also painting more just for this event. The painting she finishes at the gallery will also be available for purchase.
