Featured Pet of the Month: Oreo

Oreo

Oreo is a handsome 1.5 year old kitty who is waiting for a family at the Humane Society of Sedona. He is slowly but surely finding his confidence and learning how to trust the people around him. When Oreo first came to the shelter in November, he spent most of his time hidden away. Though he is naturally shy, he has begun to show interest in play time and treat time with the staff and volunteers. He no longer stays hidden and loves to engage with string toys and will eat treats from your hand. You can’t quite pet him yet, and that is okay. He has made huge progress in the past few weeks and the shelter staff thinks his confidence will just continue to grow given the time and space to do so. Oreo may never be a lap cat, but he has his own unique way of connecting and still deserves a home that appreciates how wonderful he is! Oreo does get along with other kitties and may enjoy a home with a nice cat who can help him settle in. He is fixed, microchipped, and up to date on his vaccines. If you are interested in meeting Oreo, please call the Humane Society of Sedona at 928-282-4679 and set up an appointment to meet him.
