Nigel arrived at the Humane Society of Sedona after his guardian passed away. He is 14 years old and is really struggling in the shelter environment. He spends most of his time hiding under a bench, but has started to come out for certain volunteers and staff members who he has gotten comfortable with, although for just small bits of time. It’s a very confusing time for him, but given enough patience and love, he will find his way back to happiness again. Nigel is needing quiet and chaos free home with someone who will be willing to give him that time and space he needs to process all he’s been through while he opens his heart to a new family. He lived in a home with other senior kitties and has bunked with a couple kitties at the shelter here and did OK – just mostly keeps to himself. He may do well in a home with another sweet and friendly kitty. If you are interested in giving Nigel a second chance at happiness, please call the Humane Society of Sedona at 928-282-4679 and set up an appointment to meet him!
