The luxe hotel’s on-site restaurant, Cress on Oak Creek, offers an outstanding dining experience. Feast on fine fare at a table outdoors as Oak Creek babbles beside you for a one-of-a-kind setting. L’Auberge also offers elopement packages that include a private ceremony, dinner, a four-course tasting menu, a Veuve Clicquot Champagne toast, a wedding cake and a two-night stay in one of the property’s cottages.

West’s Sedona Ambiente is a truly modern property. The hotel’s signature Atriums or rooms are exceptionally well designed. They’re essentially glass-wrapped cubes that showcase Sedona’s stunning scenery. When you’re standing inside one, it really does feel as if you’re immersed in nature while staying inside. Guests will love the plush bed and couches, along with the oversized shower and tub that are both big enough for two. Take in red rock views from the rooftops on nearly all of the 40 Atriums, which are accessed by a spiral staircase.

From the rooftop, guests can enjoy a special private dinner by booking the Sip, Savor & Soar Above It All: A Rooftop Rendezvous. Chef Kyle Rhodes will curate a unique three-course menu that’s paired with wine or Champagne. Couples who book the A Day for Love Package will receive a floral arrangement created by a local florist, handcrafted chocolates and a chilled bottle of Champagne. Couples looking to unwind together can do so at the on-site Velvet Spa. Located just beneath the lobby, the Velvet Spa offers a handful of treatments just for couples. The Couples Escape begins with both individuals soaking in Japanese soaking baths and is followed by a full-body or deep-tissue massage for the couple. The Ultimate Duo features a plethora of spa treatments. This includes a scrub, a wrap and a soothing scalp and neck massage. The entire treatment is finished up with a full-body massage. Each person receives each treatment side by side.

CREEKSIDE INN


The Creekside Inn Sedona’s name says it all. Located on the banks of Oak Creek, Creekside has just six suites. Suites are essentially modern, luxe cabins and offer couples plenty of privacy in a serene, natural setting. The cabins include high ceilings, modern amenities and contemporary décor.

The Honeymoon Suite features stunning views of Oak Creek, a private deck, a spacious bathroom with a jetted tub for two and a plush King bed with a fireplace. Breakfast is served between 8:30 and 9:30 a.m. Guests can look forward to fresh fruit and a three-course gourmet meal delivered to their rooms.

LANTERN LIGHT INN


West Sedona B&B, the Lantern Light Inn, touts itself as a quiet, soothing destination for couples. The ivy-covered property that has 10 rooms and one home and is intended to help couples connect and relax. Rooms are simple, yet well appointed. Expect firm beds topped with fresh linens and comfortable bathrooms. The King Room features a plush king bed (naturally) along with a private outdoor patio, which comes complete with a fire pit and a seating area. The inn is adults-only and quiet. The courtyard features swings, benches and places to sit and really relax. Guests also can have small weddings with up to 55 guests in the hotel’s outdoor garden.

WHERE TO EAT



Rene at Tlaquepaque has all the hallmarks of a fine dining restaurant: white tablecloths, stellar cuisine and a charming setting. When the weather’s good, be sure to snag a seat at the outdoor courtyard, which features arches and light-wrapped trees. The food is French and Mediterranean. Think French Onion Soup Gratinee and Escargot. Two of the restaurant’s most outstanding dishes are the Dover Sole and Traditional Steak Diane. The sole is seared and basted with brown butter, parsley, lemon and capers. Consider finishing a meal here with the decadent chocolate soufflé.

Dahl & Di Luca Ristorante Italiano.

West Sedona’s Dahl & Di Luca Ristorante Italiano features plenty of romantic charm. The white tablecloths, hanging chandelier and intimate setting all contribute to the romantic vibe. Dahl & Di Luca has brought excellent Italian cuisine to Sedona for nearly 30 years. Couples can indulge in fine Italian fare here. Kick off your meal with options like Arancini or Housemade Rosemary Focaccia. House specialties include Lisa’s Luscious Lasagna, Ravioli Romana or Classic Bolognese. Cap off the night with a slice of zesty and satisfying Luscious Lemon Cheesecake.

SPEND TIME OUTDOORS



Many people flock to Sedona for the stunning red rock views. If you’re looking to spend quality time together in nature, we have some ideas for you. West Fork follows Oak Creek and offers up only-in-Sedona scenery with the creek and red rocks. Cathedral Rock is a tough trek, but the views are breathtaking. Bell Rock is a scenic place that’s also easy to reach. Crescent Moon Ranch is a gorgeous spot that’s also very accessible and features great views of Cathedral Rock. For a truly epic destination, rent a high clearance vehicle and drive out to Merry-Go-Round Rock. No matter where you go, spending time in a beautiful place is always romantic.
