Reds Sedona Grill

Reds Sedona Grill

Walking into Reds Sedona Grill at the Sedona Rouge Hotel & Spa feels like stepping into a chic city lounge. The dining room features dark gray booth seating, red tablecloth napkins, a red candle holder with a real flickering candle inside and lighting that manages to somehow be both bright and dim at once. Sitting outside at the lively patio that faces AZ-89A is another option. You can’t go wrong either way. This modern vibe has made this spot a local favorite for years. It helps that the food is stellar too.

To start, we ordered the Avocado Caprese Salad. This colorful creation was fresh and light. The tomatoes were juicy and ripe, the mozzarella was thick and creamy, and the balsamic drizzled over top added just enough “spice” without being overwhelming. The entire dish is served over a bed of arugula and topped with honey and olive oil. We ordered one of the most popular entrees at Reds as our second course: Short Rib Papardelle. The pasta was hearty and a great fall dish that was perfectly seasoned. It was just what we needed after a long day on Sedona’s trails – filling and warm. The short rib was tender and flavorful on top of the thick, ribbon-like noodles. The entire dish was dusted with Parmesan, giving it a nice finishing touch.

The dessert menu isn’t printed, but when our server told us about the Peanut Butter Cookie Skillet, we had to order this. This dessert gives a whole new meaning to the word “decadence.” The generously sized peanut butter and chocolate chip cookie is served in a warm cast iron skillet and topped with a large scoop of chocolate ice cream that’s topped with caramel sauce. Each bite delivered. This may just be one of our favorite desserts in town, and we’ve had plenty. Given the posh atmosphere here paired with delicious food, Reds should be on your must-try list. That is if you aren’t already a regular. − A Sedona Foodie
