Scenic Drives

Red Rock Loop Road
Winding Red Rock Loop Road weaves through West Sedona and offers up views of Cathedral Rock, Courthouse Butte and Bell Rock. We’d suggest a detour at the scenic Crescent Moon Ranch.

Oak Creek Canyon
Head North from Sedona to Flagstaff on AZ-89A and enjoy stunning views of Oak Creek Canyon’s bright green trees and towering canyon walls. Drivers can pull over at certain points to take in the scenery and take photos.

AZ89A from Sedona to Jerome
This winding road passes through Cottonwood, Clarkdale and winds up in vibrant Jerome. The views from Jerome are stunning—we’re particularly fond of the viewpoint from the iconic and maybe haunted Jerome Grand Hotel—and some of the best in the entire Verde Valley.

Verde Valley Wine Trail
The Verde Valley Wine Trail travels through Sedona, Old Town Cottonwood, Clarkdale, Cornville and Jerome. At these stops, find plenty of the area’s top wineries.

Great Sedona Views

Airport Mesa
Drive to the top of Airport Road to take in breathtaking views of Sedona’s striking Capitol Butte red rock formation.

Cathedral Rock
After a tough heart-pounding climb that’s over 1 mile, you’ll reach the summit of Sedona’s iconic Cathedral Rock. From there, take in stunning red rock views and get up close to spires at Sedona’s most-photographed red rock.
