Here’s where to dine out in Sedona with kids. Find live music and a kid’s menu at lively Sound Bites Grill. Kids 12 and younger can choose from six different entrees including the teriyaki chicken bowl, pasta primavera and linguini and meatballs. For dessert, kids can dig into three scoops of ice cream or a sundae. Families can enjoy dinner and a show at Cottonwood’s Blazin’ M Ranch. Before dinner, kids can take a mechanical bull ride or a wagon ride around a Western town replica dubbed Frontier Town. At 6:30 p.m., families can take part in a chuckwagon dinner complete with chicken, ribs, biscuits and beans while they watch a Western stage show.
Besides the stunning red rock views, Uptown Sedona’s Canyon Breeze also features a kid’s menu. Children can enjoy a corn dog, a hot dog or a junior ham or turkey sandwich. Each entrée comes with a choice of fries, chips or coleslaw. End your meal with a scoop of gourmet ice cream. Kids can order from Uptown Sedona’s iconic Western restaurant Cowboy Club’s Lil’ Buckaroos menu. This menu features mac n’ cheese, chicken tenders, a junior burger, a quarter rack of BBQ pork ribs and a four-ounce flat iron steak. Sides include seasonal vegetables, corn on the cob, sweet potato or steakhouse fries. Finish with a fresh fruit cup or a chocolate chip cookie.
Children 12 and younger can feast on small versions of Uptown’s Sedona Pizza Company’s cheese and pepperoni pizzas. They also can order penne in butter, a grilled cheese sandwich with French fries and spaghetti with meatballs in red sauce. At The Secret Garden Café, kids 12 and younger can have a grilled cheese sandwich, mac and cheese, pasta and meatballs, cheese quesadilla, fresh fruit salad, two mini hamburgers and a peanut butter and jelly sandwich.
ShadowRock Tap + Table at the Hilton Sedona at Bell Rock offers a fun atmosphere outside that includes a huge Connect 4 replica and a ping pong table that kids will delight in. The restaurant serves an interactive kid’s menu that features tic-tac-toe boards, a maze and a word search kids can fill out.
