Good news if you like to hike and don’t want to pay for parking: The Red Rock Ranger District offers Fee-Free Days so you can explore many popular Sedona sites with no charge. In 2020, Fee-Free Days when no Red Rock Pass for parking is required are on Jan. 1 in honor of New Year’s Eve and Jan. 20 on Martin Luther King Jr. Day. This includes popular trailheads like Jordan Road, Boynton Canyon Trail and the Turkey Creek TrailHead. Areas not included are Grasshopper Point, Crescent Moon Ranch, West Fork Trail (Call of the Canyon) and Beaver Creek day-use area.
