Maxine is a very sweet and loving kitty who has had a rough time lately. She was bounced from home to home before being surrendered to the Humane Society of Sedona. When Maxine arrived at the shelter, she needed a lot of medical care including double entropion eye surgery. Entropion is a condition where the eyelid turns inward, causing the eyelashes or fur to rub against the surface of the eye. This can be very uncomfortable and even painful for animals, leading to irritation, tearing, redness, or infection. She has been healing over the last couple weeks and she’s beginning to feel so much better! Maxine is a wonderful companion who loves people. She loves to be pet and scratched and will roll around for attention, which is just super cute! While she loves humans, she doesn’t care for other kitties and may prefer to be the only cat in the home. Maxine is only 4 years old and is ready for a fresh start with a family who will love her and help keep her healthy and safe.
