Rush is a playful 1.5-year-old Alaskan Husky mix and is ready to bring adventure and fun into your world! He is a gorgeous dog with a fluffy coat and one piercing blue eye. Rush has boundless energy. Truly boundless! He is absolutely obsessed with tennis balls and he would be content with you throwing them for hours. You’ll need more than one to keep him busy! He is fast, and agile, and really quite impressive. If you get to the point where you’ve helped Rush use up all that energy, he is super sweet and loving. He likes to lean against your legs and get some good scratches in. He also loves to splash in the baby pool which is quite a sight to behold given his size!
We think in time and in his own space, he will mellow out a bit – but he will never be a couch potato, that is a promise! Rush has been at the shelter since January and he is desperately seeking a home. This big guy should not be confined to a kennel…he needs space to roam! Rush would do best in a kid-free home with active adults who will give him the time, attention, and activity levels he deserves. So, what do you say?
