Families can take a peek inside Santa’s Workshop. Once at the North Pole, they can enjoy a plethora of activities like building toys with Santa’s elves and exploring the toy factory. Each child also receives a collectable bear. Adult and child ticket prices range from $42 to $65.

Take a train ride to the North Pole on the decked-out-in-lights Verde Canyon Railroad. At the North Pole, meet Santa Claus, Mrs. Claus and goofy elves. The train also passes by Santa’s Workshop and Mrs. Claus Bakery. Ticket prices for ages 11 and up start at $50 per person.

See an elaborate display of gingerbread houses – the resort claims it’s the largest in the world – in the lobby of this Prescott hotel.

Enjoy wine tasting and chocolate pairings from a variety of merchants in Old Town Cottonwood. Hot cocoa and coffee also will be available. Participating wineries include Burning Tree Cellars, Colt 804 Grill, Merkin Vineyards and Tantrum. This event is open to 100. Tickets costs $75 per person.

See a festive Christmas parade in the afternoon, and then watch as Prescott’s downtown courthouse is lit up in time for the holidays in the evening and see why Prescott is called Arizona’s Christmas City.

CHRISTMAS IN THE PARK

See a traditional tumbleweed snowman and old-time holiday decor. Enjoy hot cider and cookies, music, vintage holiday decorations, and kids can even create a make-and-take cornhusk doll. Don’t miss the sale at the museum gift shop. Free admission.

FRONTIER CHRISTMAS

The Festival of Lights is in its 49th year. See 6,000 luminaries lit up throughout Tlaquepaque Arts & Shopping Village. Attendees can hear live music, enjoy a visit from Santa, and sip free cider. The lighting of the luminaries begins at 5 p.m.


CHRISTMAS BAZAAR & PARADE OF LIGHTS
