Artists and business owners create themed trees for Tlaquepaque’s Festival of Trees.

The holiday season is upon us, and that means it’s time for the Festival of Trees at Tlaquepaque Arts & Crafts Village. The festival begins Nov. 29 – the day after Thanksgiving – when 45 Christmas trees and gingerbread houses will go on display in the ballroom. Area artists and business owners spend months creating themed trees and decorations, which are all part of a silent auction benefiting Toys for Tots and the Sedona Community Center. The festival ends Dec. 7 with a Holiday Wrap Up Party from 5 to 8 p.m. Listen to live music and enjoy food and drinks all while you wait to see if you’re the winning bidder for that perfect tree. Tickets to the party are $20 per person or $35 per couple. For more information, call 928-282-4838 or visit www.tlaq.com.
