Featured Pet of the Month: Barney

Barney

Barney is a handsome one-year-old pup who was found as a stray and never claimed. He was very shy when he first came to the Humane Society of Sedona, but he really has come into his own! Barney is still unsure of other dogs – the shelter doesn’t think he’s had much experience with them and he may prefer to be an only dog. This big boy loves people and loves to play! Fetch is a favorite of his and watching him bound around the park after toys is hilarious! Barney is still a puppy and has pretty high energy, so he would love to go to a home with someone who will take him out for regular exercise and throw the ball for him for a while. He has the most beautiful eyes and stunning brindle fur. He has mastered ‘sit’ and is eager to learn more tricks! Barney is fixed, microchipped and up to date on his vaccines. If you’re interested in meeting Barney, please call the Humane Society of Sedona at 928-282-4679 and set up an appointment to meet him!

(Neutered Male, Weight: 49lbs, Current on all vaccinations and microchipped, Age: 1 year, Arrived at shelter: 6/23/25, Adoption Fee: Sponsored)
