Looking to celebrate Independence Day in Northern Arizona? You’ve got plenty of options. The City of Sedona will be hosting its annual Sedona Summer Splash on July 4 from noon to 4 p.m. at the Sedona Community Pool. This celebration will feature music, food trucks and the chance to cool off in the pool before fireworks. Admission is free. Bring your own chairs. Visit sedonaaz.gov for more information.

Searching for fireworks? Well, you can find them in Cottonwood. The city will host a fireworks show at its annual Fantastic Family Fourth of July from 4 to 9:30 p.m. at Cottonwood Kid’s Park. This event features free food from 4 to 6 p.m., games, vendors and a fireworks show. Visit cottonwoodaz.gov for more information.

Flagstaff celebrates the Fourth of July in a big way. Many of the city’s events are also complimentary. The day kicks off with a free parade downtown from 9 to 11 a.m. From 3 to 5 p.m., the Flagstaff Symphony Orchestra will host a free concert at the Pepsi Amphitheater.
