On Oct. 31, youngsters and their parents can head to Uptown Sedona to do some trick or treating at Uptown Trick or Treat. From 5 to 8 p.m., select Uptown merchants (search for the “Uptown Trick or Treat” signs outside) will pass out free candy to kids in costumes. Visit sedonaaz.gov for more information. Children can dress up and head over to the parking lot of the Cottonwood Recreation Center on Oct. 31 from 4 to 7 p.m. to enjoy some trick or treating for the city’s Halloween Trunk-Or-Treat. Visit cottonwoodaz.gov for more information. For an adult celebration, consider heading up to Jerome for the 50th Annual Jerome Fire Department Halloween Dance on Oct. 25. Look forward to live music from The Naughty Bits. The dance is from 7 p.m. to midnight. Tickets cost $20 at the door. Attendees must be at least 21 years old to attend.
