Millie is gorgeous dog who is looking for a new family! Millie was found as a stray in December 2024 and brought to the Humane Society of Sedona. She was never claimed and she’s been living the shelter life now for almost a year.
At just 4 years old, Millie is full of life and joy! She loves spending time outdoors and never turns down the chance to play. While she can get a little obsessive with her toys, the shelter staff has been helping her work on her manners during playtime. Her excitement is contagious – she’s always just a moment away from a case of the zoomies, and her zest for life makes everyone smile! She struggles in the shelter, but is a totally different dog once you get her out of the kennel. She is so full of energy, but Millie is also full of love. Once she gets her zoomies out, she loves to sit next to you for back scratches and cheek rubs.
Millie would thrive with an active adopter who enjoys long walks and has plenty of time for evening snuggles, since cuddling is one of her favorite things. She will need a family committed to continuing her training and helping her become the very best version of herself. Because of her size and playful energy, Millie would do best in an adults-only home without other pets. Millie is spayed, microchipped, up to date on her vaccines, and her adoption fee has been sponsored! She’s just waiting for someone to give her a chance at happiness. If you think that could be you, call the Humane Society of Sedona at 928-282-4679 to set up an appointment to meet her!
