Aurora is a beautiful 7-year-old retriever mix who is looking for a home. She was surrendered to the Humane Society of Sedona a year ago and is still looking for a family to love her and taker her in. She is a favorite among staff and volunteers at the shelter, known for her easy-going personality. She’s been on field trips to volunteers’ homes and offices and has done so well wherever she goes. She enjoys short, easy walks, and endless snuggles. Aurora is a beautiful dog with big soulful eyes. She is very skilled at begging for treats and “talking” you into a back rub. While she isn’t one for hiking or running, she LOVES to play in the water. Chasing water from the hose is her favorite pastime. She would probably love a backyard with a sprinkler set up! Aurora came from a home with children and it’s reported she does well with all ages, but she’s not fond of other animals and will need to be the only pet in the home. Aurora would do so well as a family dog. She is so loyal and sweet and she just wants to be loved. Aurora is spayed, microchipped, up-to-date on vaccines, and more than ready for her forever family. After a year of waiting, she truly deserves a throne of her own. If you’re interested in meeting Aurora, please call the Humane the Society of Sedona at 928-282-4679 and set up an appointment to meet her!
