October is Pitbull Awareness month and the Humane Society of Sedona wants to make you aware of how AMAZING this month’s Pet of the Month, Nala is!
Nala is a gorgeous and happy pitbull mix who is looking for a family. She’s almost two years old, and not much is known about her life before she came to HSS back in April. We do know that she is very intelligent and loves to learn! Nala is quite the character and the baby pool is one of her favorite things in this world! She’s also very fond of playing fetch and going on hikes. Nala can be selective with other dogs, but she is easily redirected. She is treat motivated and very trainable and truly just happy to be spending time outdoors with anyone! She has the most mesmerizing eyes and the happiest smile! And don’t get us started on her cute little white sock feet. Nala is young and has a lot of energy – she needs a chance to settle into a home with a family who is willing to spend time helping her learn how to adjust to home life. We don’t believe she’s had much experience with this, but she’s come so far in the couple months she has spent at HSS. We know she will make a lovely addition to the right family.
