Featured Pet of the Month: Bissell

Bissell

Bissell is a very sweet and goofy 14-year-old orange tabby cat who is looking for a home to spend his golden years. Bissell was brought to HSS almost two months ago when his guardian became unable to care for him. He is an absolute lovebug and would prefer to just sit on your lap all day long. Not only is he snuggly, but he is vocal about it! He will let you know when he wants your attention in the cutest way possible. Bissell gets along okay with other well-mannered cats, but prefers a calm environment given his age – although he does really enjoy relishing in some catnip from time to time! If all of this isn’t enough to convince you to adopt him, please take a look at the freckles on his lips and his one little snaggle tooth…it’s perfection! Bissell is a diabetic cat and needs insulin twice a day, but he does very well with this process and his condition is very easily managed. The cat team at HSS would be happy to chat with potential adopters about this process. There isn’t much else to say about golden boy, Bissell! He would be an easy addition to most families and would be so grateful for his late in life second chance. He is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on his vaccines. Please call the shelter (928-282-4679) between 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. to make an appointment to meet him!

(Bissell is a Neutered Male, Orange tabby, Current on all vaccinations and microchipped, Age: 14 years, Arrived at shelter: 9/1/23, Adoption Fee: $30)
