Free Ride

The City of Sedona has launched a free shuttle to transport hikers to popular trailheads around town. The Sedona Shuttle will pick hikers up at park and ride lots – one located at 1294 AZ-179 and another at 20 Carruth Drive at Posse Grounds Park in West Sedona. From the AZ-179 location, hikers will be dropped off at the Cathedral Rock and Little Horse Trailheads. From the West Sedona spot, hikers will be taken to Soldier Pass and Dry Creek Trailheads. Slated to start in the summer of 2022, hikers will be taken to the Mescal Trailhead from the Posse Grounds pick up location. Shuttles will run Thursday through Sunday from 8 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. They run every 15 to 45 minutes throughout the day. During peak visitation periods, shuttles will run seven days per week.
