Then consider heading to Camp Verde for the inaugural Verde Valley Pottery Festival on Nov. 19 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and on Nov. 20 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. See the work of 10 local and regional artists on display. Many of the artists will be selling handmade items ranging from dishware to elegant jewelry that could come in handy for the upcoming holiday gift giving season. Attendees can look forward to live demonstrations, public lectures and kid’s activities. Admission is free. The festival will be held at Ben Roti Ceramics at 2175 S. Glenrose Drive in Camp Verde.
