Sedona diners who want to eat out at a restaurant with their dogs have plenty of options. All of these restaurants offer dedicated dog menus so you and your pup can both enjoy a fine meal. Bon (or shall we say “bone”) appetit!
The Secret Garden Café’s secluded and shaded patio is an ideal place to spend some time with your pup next to you. This spot feels like its own oasis. Everything here is made from scratch, and our personal favorite dish is the Hummus Pizza. Order a dog patty, sliced turkey or chicken patty for your furry friend to enjoy on this expansive outdoor patio in Tlaquepaque Arts & Shopping Village.
Guests of the Hilton Sedona Resort at Bell Rock and diners at on-site restaurant ShadowRock Tap + Table can partake in a feast with their dogs. ShadowRock’s large patio offers spaced out tables, games like checkers, blue skies and mountain views. The dog menu reads just like a human food menu. Beverages include Red Whine, a blend of chicken and beef broth, cranberry juice and water. Main courses include Bacon & Eggs, Salmon Pasta, Burger & Fries and Grilled Chicken served with rice, spinach and carrots.
Chef Mercer Mohr’s Creekside American Bistro and Mesa Grill both offer top-notch American food paired with charming settings that come complete with red rock views and stellar dog menus. The Doggie Deck Favorites menu features a Cheddar Omelet with Turkey Jerky, Grilled Chicken & Premium Dry Mix Kibble, Steak Tartar and Five Star Venison Stew. To cap off your pup’s meal, consider ordering two Chicken Jerky Cookies. All dogs receive cold filtered ice water. The menu encourages diners to text the chef if your pet is not offered VIP service and water.
Uptown Sedona’s Open Range Grill & Tavern and Sedona Pizza Company both serve an identical dog menu. Dig into barbeque and Mexican fare at Open Range. Wood-fired pies are the stars of Sedona Pizza Company’s menu. The dog menus proclaim “It’s the leashed we can do” at the top. Dogs can chow down on chicken apple sausages, a four-ounce hamburger Puppy Patty, Canine Classic featuring brown rice, spinach, carrots, apple slices and choice of a hamburger patty and baked chicken breast. With the exception of Rover’s Rice and Veggies, every dog dish is also served with apple slices. Dogs also receive a complimentary bowl of water to complete the experience. − Teresa K. Traverse
