The Sedona Heritage Museum is hosting a “Voices From the Grave” at the oldest cemetery in the Sedona area, the Schuerman Red Rock Cemetery, on April 30 and May 1. The cemetery was established in 1893 with the burial of the Schuerman family’s toddler daughter, Clara, who died of cholera. Actors will be portraying settlers like Oak Creek Canyon’s first Anglo settler, Jim Thompson, and others who call the cemetery their final resting place. The actors will tell the stories of those individuals and talk about what it was like to “live” in Sedona over 100 years ago. There will be two shows on the dates listed above at 3 and 4:30 p.m. Tickets cost $25 per person. Visit sedonamuseum.org/event/cemetery-walk for more information.
