On Jan. 9 and 12, the Chamber Music Sedona will present its seventh annual Winterfest. Attendees can look forward to two stellar performances. Held on Jan. 9 in a spectacular private home at 5:30 p.m., the winter salon musicale will feature violinist Soovin Kim playing works by top composers for solo violin, J.S. Bach and Niccolò Paganini. Light hors d’oeuvres and local wine will be served. Winterfest ends with the “Romantic Revelation” concert on Jan. 12 at 3 p.m. at the Sedona Performing Arts Center. Audience members can listen to four noteworthy chamber music artists – pianist Gloria Chien, violist Tien-Hsin Cindy Wu, cellist Edward Arron and violinist Soovin – as they perform a program of Romantic-era works by Mahler, Beethoven and Brahms. General admission tickets cost $40 for adults and $10 for students aged 13 to 21 with ID. Admission is free for children 12 and under. Tickets for the salon musicale cost $145 each.
