Check out watercolor paintings of all stripes – including two-dimensional works using any water media – at the 2020 Northern Arizona Watercolor Society’s Watermedia Exhibition. From March 6 to 19, expect to see more than 60 paintings displayed at the Sedona Arts Center’s Special Exhibition Gallery. Above all, expect a diverse body of work. Each piece is unique in its execution, subject matter, amount of or lack of realism, color palette, creation in studio or en plein air and level of design challenges. See a plethora of mediums including colored inks, casein paint and egg tempura. The show will be judged and juried by Barbara Nechis, an internationally recognized watercolorist. The show opens on March 6 at 10 a.m. On March 11, attendees can enjoy a reception featuring complimentary appetizers and wine and an awards presentation from 5 to 8 p.m. For more information, visit naws-az.org.
