One of Sedona’s most beloved annual traditions, the St. Patrick’s Day Parade, is returning for its 50th year. Presented by the City of Sedona and NAU Parks and Recreation Management Program, the parade starts at 10:30 a.m. on March 14 from Jordan Historical Park. From there, the parade proceeds south on Jordan Road to Mesquite Avenue. A free Celtic concert will follow at the Pavilion at Posse Grounds Park. City of Sedona Parks & Recreation Manager, Steve Richardson, advises attendees to get there early to find parking and snag a good viewing spot, bring lawn chairs, wear green and celebrate Irish culture. “It’s probably the prettiest parade route anywhere,” says Steve. “The backdrop of the red rocks is just gorgeous.” For more information, visit sedonaaz.gov or call 928-282-7098.
