Haiku and Rumi are super, super playful and need space to run around and get their wiggles out. They both love to be pet and are silly boys always ready for food, playtime, nap time or cuddle time. They absolutely adore each other and they must be adopted together. They may need a little time to adjust in a home as they have been in a shelter environment for several months. Please give our amazing brothers a chance!
**SPECIAL NOTES: Haiku and Rumi have been adopted twice and returned because of their shyness. They desperately need someone who is patient, kind and understanding to their specific needs. They need time to adjust to a new environment and need to find someone who is willing to give them that time and space, as well as put in the work and dedication they deserve. We believe Haiku and Rumi would do better in a home with just 1 or 2 people, NO KIDS and a more quiet and calm house in the beginning. We can help guide whoever adopts these wonderful cats to properly integrate them into their home with helpful tips and tools to make the change easier for everyone. More than anything, these boys need time – at least a month. We have seen what Haiku and Rumi’s personalities are really like – they are playful, fun, loving, affectionate and kind. We know they can be all of those things in a proper home.
