“September is one of my favorite shows: ‘Everyday Peace,’” says Linda Goldenstein, the owner of the Goldenstein Gallery at L’Auberge de Sedona. “It is inspired by the International Day of Peace. Yet we have expanded it to the whole month because we want to help people practice peace everyday”.
Participating artists include Shey Khandro, Ben Wright, Marilyn Bos, David Phelps, James Muir and Ali Mignonne. Shey will lead a free special Meditation for Peace at L’Auberge de Sedona on Sept. 21, the International Day of Peace. One piece to look forward to? One of Shey’s creations, a pointillist piece called Blue Medicine Buddha of Healing. Linda explains that every dot of paint is an offering to end suffering in the world.
