Verde Valley School will be hosting a virtual concert on Oct. 10 to support the Verde Valley School’s Native American Scholarship Fund. The “Dream Concert” aims to raise funds for Native American youth to attend Verde Valley School in Northern Arizona. The show will highlight musicians, writers, indigenous students and alumni of Verde Valley School. As of press time, the lineup includes the following musicians: Jackson Browne, Shawn Colvin, Michael Franti, Calexico and Sihasin.
All proceeds from this event are added to the Native American Scholarship Fund in an ongoing commitment to bring awareness, tuition assistance and support for indigenous students. The Native American Scholarship Fund also supports Indigenous artists, activists, and scholars to share their heritage and experiences at Verde Valley School. Visit vvsaz.org to learn more.
