Next year marks what would have been the 250th birthday of legendary composer Ludwig van Beethoven. To kick things off early, the Verde Valley Sinfonietta and Sedona International Film Festival have collaborated and are paying tribute to the musician with a special performance, “Beethoven in the Movies” on Oct. 12 at 7 p.m. at the Sedona Performing Arts Center. Expect to see 16 scenes cut from five films depicting different moments in Beethoven’s life. Each scene will be set to some of Beethoven’s most famous music.
