Shopping for farm-fresh foods, fruits and vegetables that are locally grown should be on your checklist of things to do in Sedona. The Sedona Community Farmers Market held in the creekside parking lot of Tlaquepaque Arts & Crafts Village is all the rage on Friday mornings from 8-11:30 a.m. now until Oct. 11. Mill around each booth as you find foods from local growers and a variety of homemade goods. Choose from fresh fruits and vegetables, eggs, grass-fed beef, goat products, tamales, breads and pastries, gluten-free, vegan and handmade chocolates. Check out the skin lotions, raw honey, kombucha, locally made almond butter, lavender and other elixirs that may enhance your health. Listen to live music as you stroll in a beautiful setting within the heart and soul of Sedona. It’s a great way to spend a morning and support our local farmers.
