Loving Bowls

Choose from more than 1,000 bowls handcrafted by local potters and glass artists to benefit area nonprofits including arts and education programs at the Sedona Arts Center, Meals on Wheels and the Sedona Community Food Bank. The bowls are $10 each. New this year: Glass bowls from The Melting Point. Everyone who makes a purchase will enjoy chili and dessert. There will also be a silent auction featuring local art.
A Christmas Carol Reading

Performer Michael Peach will read the Charles Dickens’ classic novella A Christmas Carol in front of the fire in the historic Jordan House. A donation of a nonperishable food item for the Sedona Community Food Bank or $6 per person is requested.

Yes, you read the headline correctly: For two days this month, you can ice skate outdoors in Sedona. Sedona Parks and Recreation will bring in a 1,500-square-foot synthetic ice skating rink where anyone can don skates (provided at no cost) and glide under Red Rock Fantasy’s lights. It’s the perfect activity for kids of all ages. On Dec. 31, the people’s choice winner for best Tinsel Town light display will be revealed.
