After a short hiatus, the Friends of the Sedona Public Library will once again host the Festival of Wreaths. The library fundraiser kicks off on Nov. 9 with a preview party at the library (3250 White Bear Road) from 4 to 6:30 p.m. The party includes wine, appetizers, live music, a raffle and the chance to purchase wreaths before the general public. Tickets are $15 each or two for $25. Tickets can be purchased at the library’s West Sedona and Village of Oak Creek locations or at the Sedona Bashas’. Wreaths go on sale to the public Nov. 10.
For those interested in creating a wreath, donations must be delivered to the library Nov. 7 between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. Friends of the Sedona Public Library contributes more than $100,000 annually to help the library provide free services to the community. Proceeds benefit self checkout stations and programs such as summer reading, the Arizona Humanities Council and teen theater.
